The Meaning of Pactura

The name Pactura carries a deep philosophical meaning. It comes from two elements:

  • Pacta is a Latin term that embodies the ideas of agreements, covenants, and binding legal commitments.
  • Ura, which represents clarity, explanation, knowledge, and openness.

When combined, these two words form a name that symbolises the commitment to transform complex legal concepts into knowledge that is clear, transparent, and accessible. Pactura aspires to provide insights that serve not only as reliable foundations for agreements and decisions, but also as a bridge between law, society, and the pursuit of justice

Legality of Pactura

PT Pactura Law Platform is established as a Private Limited Liability Company (Perseroan Terbatas/Perorangan), duly constituted under the provisions of Law No. 40 of 2007 on Limited Liability Companies, as amended by the Omnibus Law on Job Creation. This legal foundation affirms Pactura’s status as a formally recognised and lawfully incorporated entity within the Republic of Indonesia, providing it with the legitimacy to operate in accordance with national regulations and corporate governance standards.

The company’s core business domains encompass publishing (including books, journals, magazines, and other media), the operation of digital platforms and commercial web portals, the provision of management consultancy services, as well as research and development in the fields of social sciences and the humanities. These areas of focus reflect Pactura’s commitment to advancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and bridging the intersections of law, business, and society.

Erizka Shavirra Rachael, S.H., M.Kn is a legal scholar and researcher whose academic journey reflects a deep commitment to the study of law. She earned her Bachelor of Laws from Trisakti University (2017–2021), pursued a Master of Notarial Law at Diponegoro University (2021–2023), and has been currently undertaking a Doctoral Program in Law since 2023. Her educational background underscores a consistent dedication to advancing expertise in notarial practice, agrarian law, and land affairs.

Alongside her academic path, Erizka is pursuing her professional career as a Notary and Land Deed Official (PPAT) while remaining actively engaged in legal research. She firmly believes that legal practice cannot be detached from rigorous scholarship and that every professional step must be grounded in evidence based research that responds to societal needs. Through her scholarly endeavours, she is equally committed to amplifying the voices of communities, particularly those often marginalised in legal processes and policy making.

As the founder of Pactura Law Platform and the EduPactura Journal House, Erizka has created spaces dedicated to fostering research, publications, and academic collaboration. Through these initiatives, she seeks to bridge social realities with credible and impactful scholarship, while providing opportunities for young legal scholars to grow, to engage with pressing societal concerns, and to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of knowledge and the realisation of social justice.

In addition to her academic and professional pursuits, Erizka actively builds bridges for collaborative research, both through formal academic journals and more accessible blog based article platforms. By doing so, she seeks to connect rigorous scholarship with public engagement, creating opportunities for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the democratisation of legal discourse.
